Al-Burhan Relief and Development Foundation is a local Yemeni, voluntary, non-profit organization that responds to humanitarian needs and supports communities in strengthening their capacity for recovery and development.

The Foundation was established amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions, increasing displacement, and declining basic services, driven by the belief in the importance of a Yemeni organization capable of reaching the communities most affected.
Our Story and Approach
From Emergency Response to Recovery and Development
Al-Burhan Relief and Development Foundation was established as a local response to the growing humanitarian needs in Yemen, with the aim of delivering assistance in an organized manner and helping alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable groups.
Since its establishment, the Foundation’s work has expanded to include relief and emergency response, food security, education, support for the most vulnerable groups, recovery, and community development. Its approach is based on local access, partnership building, and strengthening communities’ capacity to withstand and recover from crises.
The Foundation operates in the governorates of Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Aden, Marib, Hadramout, Shabwah, and Al Jawf.
